When will hubzero source code be released?
I am part of a research organization looking to host a hub on our own servers. We would like to know when the hubzero source code will become available, in order to determine if hubzero will be a viable option for an out-of-the-box research hub.

Rick is close, but here’s the official word: We’re releasing HUBzero as open source at the HUBbub 2010 Workshop, April 13-14, in Indianapolis, Indiana. After April 13, it will be available for download on the hubzero.org web site.

Just to follow up, HUBzero is indeed available now as open source. See the following page for more information: https://hubzero.org/tour/distribution

A *very* non-official answer here but during a seminar yesterday about hub-zero I was told “March 2010” is the release date.
