HUBzero Extended Development Work from SGCI

The Science Gateways Community Institute offers a consulting service with the option for custom development. SGCI connects interested gateway teams with hands-on consultants that have experience in a wide range of programming languages and environments. Although still a relatively new service, members of the HUBzero Development Team have already acted as consultants to a number of projects.

Several HUBzero community members including Marshall University and QUBES have worked one-on-one with a HUBzero developer. The Ecological Society of America (ESA) is the latest organization to seek assistance with development to realize their goals. In an effort not dissimilar to PlantingScience, which pairs scientist mentors to pre-college student research groups, the ESA plans to use their Hub to match mentees with mentors from their community in hopes of providing mentees with guidance on possible career paths and job tips.

If you are interested in working with a HUBzero developer to help you with your next project, contact SGCI’s Extended Developer Support service through SGCI’s contact form: SGCI Service Contact Form.
